Supernatural Manifestations - Supernatural Victories

It is our Lord's desire for this world to not only know that He is the Living God, but for all to see that He is. There are so many promises in the Word of God that He sent His Word to heal, that He watches over His Word to perform it, that His Word does not return void but accomplishes what He sent it for,  that His promises are "Yes" and "Amen", that He would send signs and wonders to confirm His Word, etc., etc.

It is also vitally important to know that He has chosen to reach this world through you and me. Paul tells us in Romans 10:13-14,

For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

He further teaches us in Ephesians 4:11-12a,

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry.

We all work together in ministering to this world. In Ephesians 4:15-16 He goes on to say,

but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

When we all do our part it causes the growth of the body of Christ. Now I want to draw your attention to how these two verses are sandwiched between "love"..."speak the truth in love" and "edifying of itself in love".

When Jesus was questioned by religious leaders as to what Is the greatest commandment in the law, He answered in Matthew 22:37-38,

Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment."

But then He added in verse 39,

"And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’"

We see this confirmed by Mark 12:30-31,

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

After someone asked Jesus the same question, Jesus asked him to answer what he thought...his answer in Luke 10:27-28 was,

So he answered and said, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ” And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”

This is our key to life!

Many times I have encountered people who have found it difficult to understand or apply this principle because they have told me that they do not even love themselves, so how are they supposed to love others the way they love themselves? Others love themselves so much that they have become selfish and are not able to love others.

Jesus teaches us in John 13:34,

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

Did you pick up the subtle difference? Here Jesus does not say to love others the way we love ourselves...He said to love others the way HE loves us.

How does He love us?

While we were still sinners (Romans 5:8)! Unconditionally! It is because of His love that we are drawn to Him. He saved us. And even when we make mistakes after coming to the Lord, He still forgives us.

This is how we are to love. In fact, Jesus goes on to say in John 13:35,

By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

This is how we are going to reach this world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. People are fed up with dry hypocritical judgemental religion. We are all thirsty for the truth. Jesus is that truth. And when we demonstrate the love of Jesus, multitudes will running to Him.

As a renewed commitment to Jesus and His work...let's all commit to trusting Him to fill us with His love and to unconditionally show that love to all around us.

Say this out loud, "I have received the love of God in my heart. He loves me unconditionally. He has placed that same love in me. I love others the way He loved and loves me."

We love you! And are dedicated to praying for you every day.

You are blessed!

Jesus is Lord!

Dear Partner

“Business is bad”

“I have such a bad migraine”

“This country is going to the dogs”

I do not like to start off a letter with bad confessions! However, I have been amazed at how many Christians have been saying things similar to the statements above. Particularly if we believe what Jesus said in Mark 11:23,

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Our words are significant in our lives. Jesus said that we have what we say! Of course we do not want to just reverse what we have been saying…”I am not sick”…because we may well be experiencing symptoms. However, the way we exterminate darkness is by turning on the light.

Jesus said that His words are spirit and they are life (John 6:63). And the Word of God tells us in Psalm 107:20 that,

He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

The purpose of the Word of God is not only to reveal to us who He is, but it also carries the power to accomplish what He sent it for (Isaiah 55:11).

So, how does the Word accomplish what it was sent for? When it is received by a believer, believed in the heart and then spoken out loud out of the heart of faith.

Once again, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

Instead of releasing words of destruction that reaffirm the situation I may well be going through, we determine to set time aside to meditate in the Word of God with scriptures that speak about our deliverance from the circumstance that we are facing.

For example:

My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19),

By Jesus stripes you have been healed (1 Peter 2:24) and

When we humble ourselves and pray, He will heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14).

As I read and speak these words faith rises in my heart. I believe that God watches over His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). When I am in this place and attitude of faith…the spirit of faith, if someone asks how it is going I will answer,

“Praise God, I believe my business is doing well”

“By His stripes I am healed, and walk in the divine life of God”

“I have great hope for our country. I see it blessed and prosperous where multitudes are coming to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour!”

By the Spirit of God, I want to encourage you…I know that sometimes we face horrible and difficult situations. However, the Word of God is still true. Let’s stay focussed on His Word and declare it with boldness. This gives our Lord opportunity to move on our behalf.

You will see the supernatural manifestations of our God and experience supernatural victory!

We love you dearly and pray for you every day.

Remember…you are blessed!

Jesus is Lord,

Supernatural Manifestations - Supernatural Victories

Look what Jesus said in John 16:33,

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

Remember that Jesus is Jewish so he would have used the Hebrew word for peace which is "Shalom". Shalom is a blessing word meaning wholeness, completeness, preservation, protection, full supply. Quite literally, nothing missing, nothing broken.

I used to think of peace as the absence of war. Yet, the way Jesus describes it, in Him we can experience peace in the midst of war. Protection in the middle of destruction. Water in a desert. Provision during a time of lack. What an awesome promise!

Now it is important to notice that Jesus did warn us there would be some trouble. We get excited that we are going to experience supernatural victories...which is good! However, a victory implies a battle. But remember what David said to Goliath in 1 Samuel 17:47,

Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord's, and He will give you into our hands.

I like to say, "The battle is the Lord's, the victory is ours!"

So even though Jesus said that we would have tribulation, he went on to say to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world. That sounds a little old English...using more modern English we could say Jesus said, "Troubles coming-get excited!"

How can we be excited when trouble shows up? We remember that Jesus has already overcome it! That's right...past tense. He knew your problem was coming long before you experienced it. And He has already defeated it.

Now look at 1 John 5:4-5,

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

It was awesome to hear that Jesus has overcome the world.  Here John tells us that, as sons and daughters of God, we overcome the world. How is that possible? By faith!

We believe and confess that Jesus is the Son of God. We receive the knowledge that Jesus has already defeated the enemy. He has already fought the battle. And out of His great love for us has handed us the victory! Hallelujah!

So, no matter what you are experiencing, or are going to experience, remember that even though it feels uncomfortable at the time...keep your faith strong in the promises of God.

When King Jehosophat was being threatened by three massive armies, he received a word from God that our Lord would deliver them. His response in 2 Chronicles 20:21 was,

And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the Lord, for His mercy endures forever.

By the time they arrived at the battlefield, all of the armies had defeated each other. The entire multitude were all lying dead and it took Judah three days to gather the spoil (treasures).

When the enemy is trying to fill your head with fear and doubt, just lift your voice and begin to praise God. Then, even though the storm is blowing all around you, it will not touch you. Just like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, you will go through the fiery furnace and come out the other side without even the smell of smoke on your clothes.

You are an overcomer - you have overcoming faith!

As you sow your seeds of faith say, "I am an overcomer. My Jesus said so! He has overcome the world. He has already fought the battle and has given me the victory. The battle is the Lord's, the victory is mine! By faith, I have overcome every problem, in the Name of Jesus."

Please remember that we still pray for you every day. We are in agreement...you have the victory! Supernatural Victories!

You are blessed.

Dear Partner

As we draw towards the end of the year, I am always reminded by God; that which He has promised shall surely come to pass. Remember that faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17) and that our God watches over His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12).

Our Lord said that we would experience His manifested Love and manifested Life this year. We have already had so many testimonies pouring in confirming this. Maybe you have some things that you would still like to see God move on in your life.

Remember this, He told us in Isaiah 48:3,

I have declared the former things from the beginning; they went forth from My mouth, and I caused them to hear it. Suddenly I did them, and they came to pass.

I am sure you could do with some “Suddenlies”.

We also read in Job 5:8-9,

But as for me, I would seek God, and to God I would commit my cause— 9 Who does great things, and unsearchable, marvellous things without number.

Read the same passage in the Message translation,

If I were in your shoes, I'd go straight to God, I'd throw myself on the mercy of God. 9 After all, he's famous for great and unexpected acts; there's no end to his surprises.

I like that…He is famous for great and unexpected acts!

I believe that we can look out for some Suddenly Unexpected Surprises!

The key is to remain consistent in our faith.  God has given us awesome promises in His Word. We read in Numbers 23:19,

God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do?

We are reminded in Hebrews 10:23,

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Even when it looks like there is absolutely no way for this to happen, we continue to declare His promises with a boldness that comes from believing His Word. All through the Word of God we see God doing the seemingly impossible; stopping the rotation of the earth (Joshua 10:12-13), opening a sea (Exodus 14:21-22), etc. Many of these things happened and caught people by surprise.

That’s why I say…get ready for Suddenly Unexpected Surprises.

I believe, and therefore declare it by faith, that you are going to see Suddenly Unexpected Surprises before the end of the year, in the Name of Jesus!

Believe it! Receive it! Say, “Thank you, Father. I am ready for Suddenly Unexpected Surprises. In fact when they happen, I will not even be surprised. Praise you, Lord.”

We are so excited for this next year coming up. There are some wonderful things and developments in the pipe line. God is propelling us to be even more effective than we have been before to reach this world with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Please remember that Janine and I love you dearly and pray for you every day.

You are blessed!

Jesus is Lord,

Dear Partner

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to know that every time you prayed, you knew that your prayer was heard by God and that it was answered.

Jesus told us in Mark 11:24,

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Did you see that? When you pray…you will have them! That sounds like a guarantee of answered prayer.

Now I know there have been times when I prayed and it looked like it was not answered. So, we have two opinions here… Allan: “I prayed and it was not answered” and Jesus: “When you pray it is answered”. One of us is wrong. I have learned that when it comes to opinions…the opinion of Jesus is ALWAYS right. After all He is the way, THE TRUTH and the life (John 14:6).

In other words; if it looks like my prayers were not answered, and Jesus said they would be, then I have missed something somewhere. There is a protocol and a process to prayer. It is important that we understand this if we want to see our prayers answered.

The first thing to recognise is that before Jesus got to verse 24, He began by saying, “Have faith in God” (Mark 11:22). And we know from Romans 10:17,

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The Word of God is the will of God. I discovered that most of the times when it looked like my prayers were not being answered, it was because I was either guessing what I thought I needed or I was calling out in ignorant desperation.

One of the keys to successful praying is knowing the will of God. Before going to God in prayer, first take time to seek out His will in the Word of God. If you need healing, spend some time looking up promises of His healing and renew your mind to where you know it is His desire for you to be healed.

If it is provision that you desire, meditate on scriptures that speak to His pleasure for you to prosper and supply all your need.

After you are convinced in your heart that it is His will for you to receive what He has promised, ask Him to reveal what it is that you should specifically pray for.

I remember there was a time that I thought if God could just give me a really big lump sum of money all my problems would be solved (I even figured out what the exact amount should be). It took months and months of praying and there seemed to be no breakthrough.

Then I did what I have just shared with you. I fed on His Word and allowed it to show me His will for me to be delivered. Then, as I drew close to Him with a hearing ear, I sensed Him showing me how there were areas in my life that were causing the lack that I was seeing. I realised that I had been praying amiss.

I changed my prayer for Him to show me wisdom for how to solve the problems and for solutions on how to manage my affairs in line with His Kingdom.

It was like night became day. My inaccurate stewardship was draining, and therefore hiding me from seeing God’s provision. I watched daily as my prayers were being answered and found out that His supply was there all the time.

Look what John wrote in 1 John 5:14 ,

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Begin today by determining God’s will for your answer. And then pray confidently knowing that He hears you and that He has answered your prayer.

Have faith in God!

We love you and continue to pray for you every day.

You are blessed!

Jesus is Lord,

Dear Partner

Look at this wonderful scripture in 1 John 4:9,

In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

The manifested love of God has manifested life for us. Life does not just mean that we get to go to heaven, although that is the most wonderful manifestation of life. No, life is for here and now. Remember Jesus said in John 10:10,

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Now the enemy wants to try and steal, kill and destroy what Jesus has already done for you. And sometimes it looks as though he may even be succeeding. But I want to encourage you that it is in the midst of the most difficult times that we see the grace of God manifesting with greater power. God shows up when you are in the middle of the fire!

Remember Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed- Nego refused to bow down to a gold idol and were thrown into a fiery furnace heated seven times more than usual. To all intents and purposes they should have died instantly, and yet King Nebuchadnezzar says in Daniel 3:25,

"Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God."

Even though you may be going through a tough time, Jesus will walk with you in the midst of it! Not only that, He will determine a way out and send a Word to you to deliver you.

The widow that lived in Zarephath had reached the end of the line. Because of the drought that had been declared over Israel she had run out of food. When the Prophet Elijah met her she was gathering some sticks to cook their last meal and was getting ready to die.

However, in 1 Kings 17:13-15,

And Elijah said to her, "Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son. 14 For thus says the Lord God of Israel: 'The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth.'" 15 So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days.

It is vitally important to not allow fear to take hold. No matter how bad the situation seems, if we allow fear in it will stop our faith from working. You DO have faith! According to Romans 10:17,

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

That faith will work if we do not allow fear to interfere. How do we combat fear?

Two things to remember about faith:

Firstly in 2 Corinthians 4:13,

And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak.

And secondly James 2:26,

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Just as the widow gave her last meal in sacrifice, the action of sowing seed demonstrates your faith in the provision of God. As you sow your seed this month, declare loud and confidently, “My God is with me! He never leaves me nor forsakes me. I may have been in the fire, but my Lord has delivered me. He is not mocked! As I have sown my seed, I receive my harvest of deliverance. I am free in the Name of Jesus!”

Now… Do NOT fear…have faith in God!

Janine and I love you and are standing with you in prayer every day.

You are blessed!

Jesus is Lord,

Dear Partner

How often have we prayed and wondered why we have not seen an answer to our prayers? I used to wonder if God even listens to me, or if He does, why or how would He even answer me.

One of the greatest revelations that I have received from the Lord is that He wants to answer our prayers more than we even want them answered! Look what Jesus said in John 15:7-8,

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

Glorified means that His glory will show up in your life. By His grace and power the fruit He desires in our life will come forth in a way that others will see it. If I may put it this way…God wants to “show off” through you! And He does it through answered prayer!

Jesus said, “Ask…and it SHALL be done for you.” Not “might”…

Now of course, He began by saying if we abide in Him and His words abide in us. This means that He desires for us to fellowship with Him. The reason is that when we spend time with God, talking with Him and reading His Word, the Bible, we develop a sensitive ear to hear His will.

When you know what God says on an issue it is easy to stand in faith for it. Remember Romans 10:17,

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Even if an attack comes from the enemy where he tries to tell you that God will not do something, you are confidentially able to stand up against that and declare, “It is written…” and call out the promise that God has established in His Word.

Jesus told us in Mark 11:22-24,

Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

I have learned not to try and work out what God is going to do or how. Jesus said that we are to have faith in God. That means I am going to rest in the knowledge that He has said that whatever I ask for, I will have it. Now I am going to trust God to answer that prayer the best way He wants to.

Rather than me thinking that He has not answered my prayer, I am going to praise Him in the knowledge that Jesus said that it is answered.

I have seen many, many times how God has answered my prayer…and it has been totally different to what I expected. And, in fact, worked out WAY better than had it gone the way I wanted it to.

HAVE FAITH IN GOD! Jesus said that your prayers are answered.

As you sow your seed this month, lay your hands on it and declare, out loud, “My God answers my prayers…Jesus said so.  I believe it with all my heart.  As I sow this seed I have a promise from God that it will multiply and that my needs are met (Galatians 6:7, Philippians 4:19). By this my Father is glorified. I have faith in God!”

Janine and I love you and pray for you every day.

You are blessed!

Jesus is Lord,

Dear Partner

In this year of Manifested Love we have a great promise of Manifested Life. John tells us                in 1 John 4:9,

In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His
only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

Jesus told us in John 10:10,

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have
come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

I want you to pay particular attention to the wording Jesus used. He said that He wanted us to HAVE life...not to just live a life. That means that this life is more than just mere existence. It is the very force that God is. John told us in John 14:6 that,

Jesus said to him, “ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes
to the Father except through Me."

Jesus wants us to live life in the same power that He does.  And the proof of our Father's love is that He sent Jesus so that we could receive it.  That was His love manifesting...and in this; Life manifested. Look at 1 John 1:1-2,

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with
our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the
Word of life— 2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness,
and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested
     to us.

Not just any life...Eternal Life. Get this, if you are born again, your eternal life does not begin one day when you die and go to heaven. No...your eternal life has already begun. Sure, your physical body will one day stop working, and it will die...but you, the born again spirit being, will simply step out that body and continue living for all eternity in the presence of God. Hallelujah!

You have that eternal life in you now! And it came to you by the Word of Life. The day you heard the Gospel and responded to His call, that Word of Life entered you and you have life.

So, how do I see that life manifest? Paul teaches us in 2 Corinthians 4:13,

And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written,
“I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak.

Start declaring, "I have received eternal life by hearing the Word of Life. I have the life of God dwelling in me. God manifested His love to me through Jesus...and now that life is manifesting in
my life. Life has victory over death! I live in the divine life of God."

Now when situations arise that try to tempt, challenge or take you out, stand up against the enemy and release the life of God into that situation by faith. If you experience pain or sickness in your body, lay your hands on yourself and declare, "I release the life of God and receive my healing, in the Name of Jesus". Speak life to your marriage, your business, your relationships,  your ministry, your bank accounts...anywhere you want to see Life manifesting. And by faith rejoice and praise God.

When you sow your seed this month...hold it in your hands and say, "I release the life of God in this seed and it goes forth in the Name of Jesus and produces a great  and mighty harvest." And sow it with great expectation...that Life will manifest not many days from now.

We love you dearly and pray for you every day.

You are blessed! Choose life...
